We are thrilled to welcome all Leesville High School alumni, families, and friends back home for the 2025 Wampus Cats Homecoming celebration! This year’s festivities are about more than just cheering under the Friday night lights—it’s a time to reconnect with old classmates, honor the legacy of our school, and celebrate the spirit that makes being a Wampus Cat so special. Whether you graduated last year or fifty years ago, this is your weekend to relive cherished memories, create new ones, and show your Wampus Cat pride.

2015 Honored Class
Leesville High School’s Class of 2015 is celebrating our 10-year reunion in true Wampus Cat style! The weekend kicks off Thursday evening with decorating and a casual get-together to start the festivities. On Friday, we’ll join the community for the black and gold–filled homecoming parade, cheer on our Wampus Cats at the big game, and then head to the VFW for a relaxed evening of reconnecting and reminiscing!

Thursday 10/9
- 5:00 – 7:00 PM – Decorate float (Location TBD)
- 7:30 PM – Dinner at Wagon Master for everyone coming into town
Friday 10/10 (Wear black Class of ‘05 t-shirt)
- 8:00 – 8:45 AM – Arrive at LHS for Meet and Greet Coffee
- 9:00 AM – Homecoming Assembly
- 2:00-2:30 PM – Meet at the lower end of 3rd Street to line up for the parade (bring your own candy to throw)
- 3:00 PM – Homecoming Parade
- 5:30 – 6:45 PM – Tailgate Block Party at LHS before the football game
- 7:00 PM – Homecoming Football Game
Saturday 10/11 (Wear white Class of ‘05 t-shirt)
- 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM – ‘05 Party at the Country Club (music, food, and drinks)

- 12:00 PM – Lunch at Mexico Lindo before everyone heads out
We will have two t-shirts available to order: a black t-shirt for Friday’s festivities and a white t-shirt for Saturday’s festivities.

To cover everything that we need to make this the best reunion possible, each classmate is asked to pay $100. If you are bringing a guest with you to partake in the fun, please add $25 per guest. This fee will cover everything for our party on Saturday (venue, food, drinks, DJ, decorations and set-up/clean-up crew) along with supplies to decorate our float.

1995 Honored Class
Class of 1995 activities for homecoming include meet and greet at Daniel Ford’s house on Thursday, October 9th. We will meet around 6/6:30 to decorate our float. Jambalaya and drinks will be provided. Friday morning we will meet in the annex gym at LHS to participate in the assembly in the auditorium. We will have lunch after the assembly and meet downtown to ride in the parade. After the parade, we will go prepare for the football game. After the game we will meet the VFW down town. Saturday morning there will be gold for anyone who wants to participate. Saturday we will have lunch at El Patio and meet a the VFW afterwards to conclude our weekend.

1965 Honored Class
To the Class of 65 YES we are having a Homecoming reunion!! The date is October 10 and 11. It starts Friday morning with the coffee, followed by the pep rally. From the pep rally we go to the Alumni luncheon where two of our outstanding LHS athletes will be honored, Richard Schwartz Class of 64 and George Smith Class of 62. After that you can go get your jeans and tshirt on cause there is going to be a parade and we are in it! Of course that evening is the big Wampus Cat Homecoming football game. For those not wishing to attend the game we will have an alternate plan. Saturday morning there will be an Alumni golf tournament if anyone is interested in playing you can register when you get here. Following the golf tournament is the BBQ and this will all take place at the Leesville County Club. We will give you a little time to go home and rest up and get ready for the evening fun. We will be meeting at the VFW Club. Yes it is the old teen club that we all used to go to on Friday and Saturday nights. The building has been updated some but it’s still the same place. We had such a great class and so many great memories. Please make every effort to come. Sixty years is a long time and I think we owe it to one another. You know there will be a lot not there and not by their choice. So what do you say, come on let’s do for all of them.
