Homecoming 1981
The 1981 Leesville High School Homecoming, themed “The Best Place to Be,” was a vibrant weekend of Wampus Cat pride. On Friday, October 23, events included registration, coffee, a spirited assembly, the Dutch Treat luncheon at the Holiday Inn, the lively Third Street parade, and the Homecoming football game against Washington at LHS Stadium. The celebration continued on Saturday, October 24, with a family barbecue at Leesville City Park and the Alumni Dance at the National Guard Armory, featuring music by the Harmon Drew Group. The 1981 Homecoming truly reflected tradition, unity, and the spirit of Leesville High.
